Rules we tested

Table – 3 : List of negative rules tested for each planet. The same set of rules was also used for testing planets which act as ‘lord of house’

1. Planet is in conjugation or square or opposite to Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu or Uranus (If more than 2 planets involved negativity scores get added accordingly)

2. Planet is in debilitated state in D9 chart

3. Planet is in 6^th, 8^th or 12^th house

4. Planet is in malefic nakshatra

5. Planet is Retrograde

6. Planet is afflicted by 3^rd or 10^th aspect of Saturn or 4^th or 8^th aspect of Mars (If afflicted by both planets simultaneously compliance scores get added accordingly)

7. Lord of planet’s house is placed in debilitated or in enemy sign

8. Planet itself is in debilitated or in enemy sign

9. Planet is in conjugation with lord of 6^th or 8^th or 12^th house

1. Planet is in conjugation or opposite or sextile or trine with Venus or Jupiter *

2. Planet is influenced by 5^th or 9^th aspect of Jupiter

3. Planet is in Exalted or friendly sign in D9 chart

4. Planet is placed in 1^st, 4^th,5^th, 9^th or 11^th house

5. Planet itself is in exalted or own sign

6. Lord of planet’s house is in exalted state or is in it’s own sign

*If multiple planets are involved while complying the rule, the negativity scores add up accordingly
